The Weavers’ Cabin is located in historic Harmony, Butler County.
The cabin is dedicated to preserving historic handcrafts. Dedicated volunteers demonstrate every weekend specializing in hand spinning and weaving as the town’s founding fathers did in 1804. A period hand carved barn loom is displayed and used by the volunteers. Items produced by the active volunteers are available for retail sales to support their mission. In addition to the weekly demonstrations, lessons and Make-and-Take programs are available.
Special events include sock cranking, fleece to shawl demos, natural dying, flax to linen demo, and spinning wheels great and small.
